In the mid 1990s, Doug Sheek opened a small Real Estate Office in Chesterfield, VA calling it Arbor Realty. For several years thereafter, Arbor Realty prospered and Doug assisted hundreds of Virginians both buy and sell real estate in the Richmond Metropolitan Area and within the surrounding counties. With the arrival of the year 2003, Doug was approached by Keystone Builders and asked to lead their efforts to build nearly 500 homes and develop a new parcel of land as an extension of the Brandy Oaks Subdivision in Chesterfield County.
Fast forward to the Summer of 2010 and Doug's commitment to that new subdivision was complete as Brandy Oaks was fully built out. Teaming up with another two long time Realtors, Brenda Woodward and Michael Marretti, the three decided to join efforts and collectively incorporate to open the doors as the founders of Arbor Realty, Inc. as it is known today.
With more than 90 years of collective real estate experience working with clients to list or sell existing homes, as well as new construction, Doug Sheek, Brenda Woodward and Michael Marretti joined their efforts to help individuals and families "Put Down Roots" in the greater Richmond Metropolitan area and surrounding counties. Through their expertise in corporate relocations and military change of station moves, their real estate services have not been limited to local areas and the Commonwealth of Virginia, but have spanned across the country helping individuals and families find their new homes
Several years ago, at the request of several clients, Arbor Realty, Inc. added a Property Management Division providing full turnkey property management service. Arbor Realty, Inc. now offers investors and homeowners the opportunity to find, prepare, and market homes as rental properties, as well as screening potential tenants handling all maintenance needs and collections throughout the term of the lease.
